Fleet Street Quarter proudly presents Whispers, an innovative sculptural installation by renowned Polish designer Oskar Zięta, celebrating the enduring creative partnership between Poland and the UK. This striking commission highlights the fusion of art, technology, and public engagement.
Zięta, internationally recognised for his pioneering FiDU (Freie Innendruck Umformung) technology, transforms flat metal sheets into lightweight, three-dimensional forms using internal air pressure. The result: dynamic, organic structures that challenge the boundaries of contemporary design and engineering.
The full-scale installation is located outside 60 Ludgate Hill, just a short walk from The London Centre. Here, you can see a prototype, which was publicly inflated as part of the London Festival of Architecture on 29 May. You can now see it exhibited at The London Centre.
Co-produced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, the Polish Cultural Institute in London, Let’s Art Foundation, and On & On Designs, this project is part of the 2025 UK/Poland Culture and Creative Season, organised in collaboration with the British Council.
