City of London

LFA 2025 Destinations:

City of London

Home to a contrasting mix of architecture from all eras, the City of London is a place of constant evolution. Since its inception, people have come from all over the world to connect, collaborate and innovate—combining an ambitious mindset for progress and growth with a strong sense of social purpose.

The City of London is also home to the UK’s most productive, most diverse, and its youngest workforce. Giving voice to and serving the needs of the next generation of talent is an important part of the City Corporation’s Destination City initiative—which is the growth strategy for the Square Mile.

Alongside the exciting programme of events across the area, the winning City Views competition proposal will see a series of public realm interventions in the Eastern City Cluster, reimagining the way people navigate and experience the area and connecting visitors to the area’s iconic skyline. The imaginative and dynamic winning design is by Bamidele, Farouk & Livia (bafalw) in collaboration with RED Collective.

To pick up your LFA2025 guide locally and start your LFA2025 journey, we recommend heading to The London Centre, EC2V 7HH.

Supported by the City of London Corporation.

The City and its built environment is an asset to London, the UK and the world and is currently experiencing a period of renaissance.

In the decade ahead, the City aims to be the destination of choice where people live, work, learn, and explore. Attracting businesses, workers, students, and visitors will ensure the City of London continues to play a leading role in driving London’s and the UK’s economy.

On behalf of the City of London Corporation, we look forward to collaborating with the LFA to showcase the diverse voices that contribute to making the City a inclusive, welcoming and prosperous destination for all.

Chris Hayward, Policy Chairman
