In line with the LFA2025 theme, Voices, we invite Londoners to collaborate on projects that amplify diverse perspectives and experiment with fresh ideas for transforming local spaces. Whether it’s the kerbside or high street, playground or doorway, help us shape a city that works better for everyone.
- Is there a part of your neighbourhood that isn’t meeting the needs of those who live and work there?
- Is there a space that could be safer, more welcoming, or accessible?
- Do you have a creative approach to public space that you’re ready to share and take to the next level?
- Are you exploring ways to create spaces that serve people and planet alike?
If any of these resonate, then join LFA2025 as the moment and platform to bring your ideas to life.
This call builds on 20 years of the London Festival of Architecture and over 120 projects that have redefined our public spaces, celebrated hidden voices, and sparked long-term change in our communities. It’s also tied to our New London Agenda—a framework for city-making shaped by insights from over 400 contributors across public, private, and charitable sectors.
We’re calling on boroughs, business improvement districts, artists, architects, activists, and local groups to rethink how our city could work better for everyone and uplift the local voices at the heart of each neighbourhood.
In June, we’re looking for bold activations and interventions: street closures, block parties, site transformations, community performances, and other imaginative ways to temporarily reimagine the city. Together, let’s use the Festival to build trust, confidence, and skills, and pave the way for lasting change.
We can’t wait to see your ideas when our Call for Events and Projects opens on January 9th. Eager to get started? Join one of our Mentor Surgery Days to connect with an LFA team member or mentor by emailing info@londonfestivalofarchitecture.org.
