LFA Curation Panel 2025

Chetna Kapacee (She/Her)

Creative producer and Strategic Lead, Wandsworth Council

Chetna Kapacee is a creative producer with over 30 years’ experience producing cultural events nationally and internationally. More recently Chetna managed the mayoral Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm. As part of this Chetna was a powerful champion of the London Unseen programme, giving a voice to significant, but previously untold community histories. Chetna is currently at Wandsworth Council as the strategic lead for culture on special projects in the built environment.

Chetna's Festival Itinerary

City of Stories: Heritage, Community, and Place in London

My selection focuses on events delving into London's complex social history, specifically exploring how legacies of empire, partition, and migration have profoundly shaped the city's diverse communities and their connection to the built environment. These particular choices reflect a desire to engage with place-based narratives and community perspectives, understanding how memory, heritage, and identity are expressed and remembered across London.
