This Eid Al-Adha, we’re bringing the Aberfeldy community together at the Feldy Centre for an afternoon of food, joy and togetherness. We are honouring the voices that shape Poplar, whose traditions and stories are central to the life of this area.
As part of the London Festival of Architecture, we’ll be creating a collaborative installation outside the Feldy Centre. Using colourful lino prints and a chalk-drawn carpet across the square, residents will respond to the question: “What do you like most about living in Aberfeldy?” These personal reflections will hang like bunting across the façade, forming a vivid, visual chorus of community voices.
Architecture isn’t just about buildings—it’s about the people who give them meaning. This event is an invitation to listen, to share, and to celebrate the many voices that shape our neighbourhood, every day.
