Take a ride to explore the plants and natural voices that made London pleasurable throughout its history - from the ghost orchards of Roman Londinium to community gardens now.

Velonotte Botanica is a Sunset bike promenade through the City, Vauxhall and Brixton where history, architecture, and the blooming May green intertwine. We will uncover the rich diversity of plants and gardens that have been shaping London’s landscape, both now and then.

And as we wander through old winding paths, we will also see how resident-led projects strive for a more interesting green environment.

The ride will feature comments by Jennifer Potter, Dan Pearson, Roy Vickery & Tim Waterman .
The project is created and curated by:
— Thomas Steven, landscape architect, community garden activist
— Sergey Nikitin-Rimsky, Dr. historian and musician
& Velonotte International team.
