In our bustling capital, we all want safe, healthy, inclusive and connected public spaces that work for the people who live, work and visit. In this workshop we explore the busy precinct of Notting Hill Gate, focusing on the area between Pembridge Gardens and Kensington Church Street junction. You will learn about urban design and develop creative ideas that balance the needs of everyone.
Working with Studio PDP, participants will explore the area and learn about how to shape our city. We will look at creating positive impact, greener high streets and stronger communities.
As an urban designer for the day, this is a fun workshop where you will work in groups, using a toolkit to explore and express ideas. Although we will work with a real site, the workshop is intended as an opportunity to learn and an exploration exercise about the work of an urban designer and expression of creative ideas.
The event is run by Studio PDP and kindly supported by Kensington and Chelsea Council
