The UEL end-of-year show is a celebration of student work and their mastery. Last year UEL’s End of Year featured several award-winning research such as the British Council funding on Robotic Housing and the Trillium Pavillion designed, produced and received by students.
This year’s UEL end-of-year show is hosted within the AVA building East of the Dockland campus, extending outdoors towards the neighbouring Royal Docklands Centre for Sustainability which hosts the digital fabrication lab and research labs.
It will feature Interior design students working with recyclable cardboard chairs, working with plywood prototypes as prepared in an international workshop with Japan’s Meji University and the ‘Fragments’ 1:20 building models of ‘Biogenic houses’. These spaces and the courtyards between them are usually open to the public and secured by security staff.
