Timeless Voices is an architectural photography exhibition featuring the work of Tianzhou Yang. The exhibition will encourage a dialogue on the design of spaces where we end our physical life and explore cemeteries as living archives. The exhibition is curated by Noiascape and held in their community shared space in High Street House W12.

Noiascape is a rental housing platform for global creatives – offering a flexible network of places to live, work and socialise in cities. Noiascape also help people connect socially, providing spaces for residents to experience culture and community. Through exhibitions, talks, events and supper clubs, our shared spaces become a foyer for social and cultural life - this builds more connection and togetherness in the places where people live.

During the exhibition, Noiascape will host a discussion with Tianzhou Yang and Sam Jacob to discuss the spaces and cultural rituals we develop to celebrate death.

The event space is step-free and fully accessible for wheelchair users including an accessible WC.
The exhibition space is located on a Local High Street, is highly visible in the community and will be operated with an open-door policy to encourage local people to drop in and meet the photographer and discuss the photos. We will actively market the exhibition locally through digital and in person channels to ensure it is a local exhibition by a photographer that is resident in the street. Our approach is to expand access to the visual arts through local spaces that are free to use.
Death and how we remember those that have passed is a universal experience. Through a range of talks and podcasts we will explore how different cultures create places that mark our passing and the rituals we use to symbolise passing from one state to another.
The event will encourage open participation, discussion and an exploration of the possible future ways the end of life may be celebrated.
