Brookfield Properties proudly presents 'Temple of Relics', a striking Summer Pavilion by artist, designer, and cultural change-maker Simone Brewster. Inspired by the London Festival of Architecture 2025 theme, 'Voices', this monumental sculptural installation transforms the public realm into a space for reflection, play, and connection.
Blurring the boundaries between art, architecture, and design, Temple of Relics invites visitors to engage with its fragmented architectural forms - seating, towering columns, and sculptural elements - evoking the remnants of a lost sanctuary, reimagined for today. This dynamic pavilion is a place to gather, pause, and explore contemporary design amid the city’s energy.
More than an artwork, the pavilion is a platform for conversation and community, hosting curated events, live music, and public gatherings. Fully wheelchair accessible and featuring audio-visual descriptions, it champions sustainability, designed for reconfiguration using architectural materials like tiles, turned wood, and render.
Experience this dynamic cultural landscape at Principal Place from June to September 2025.
