Join us for a dynamic panel discussion on the future of Wood Green as a thriving cultural hub.
Haringey is a place brimming with creativity, vibrancy, personality, radicalism, diversity and community. A place that is proudly distinctive. A rebel borough and Wood Green is at the heart of it. While the area is home to incredible creative talents and cultural production, there is a need for a stronger platform to amplify these voices and showcase the artistic richness of the community.
This conversation will explore the role of the culture and art voices in the regeneration of Wood Green, how we can better celebrate and promote local creativity, and how public spaces and buildings can be designed to encourage cultural engagement. Together, we’ll discuss ways to create opportunities for artist, support creative enterprise, and shape a future where culture is at the heart of Wood Green.
We have an exciting line up of panellists this year, including Satu Streatfield, Specialist Associate, Night-time and Lighting at Publica, Paul Augarde, Director, Augarde & Partners, Kenneth Tharp, Associate Director for Culture, Haringey Council and Mary Otumahana (WondRWomN), musician and founder of The RecordShop.
Join us at Green Room to be part of the conversation on Shaping Wood Green to ensure that creativity and culture continues to flourish in Wood Green.
