With the generous support of Fletcher Priest Architects (FPA), we are providing in-person complimentary design reviews and workshops for current and prospective students and young practitioners within architecture and the built environment, irrespective of your background or academic stage.

We encourage women, disabled and Black, Asian and Global Majority Ethnicity candidates, as these groups are consistently underrepresented within the construction industry.

Sessions focuses on improving representation in the built environment. We achieve this through the offer of short- and long-term mentoring support for individuals from underrepresented backgrounds. As proof of its success, since March 2020, we have engaged with over 850 individuals in 50 cities globally; including of course London.

The event will run from 6pm where each complimentary Session will last 30mins. Please aim to bring two key aims you would like to discuss with your Mentor; we will aim to do some preparatory work before your Session.

Middlesex House is centrally located in Fitzrovia, approximately 300m from Goodge Street tube station, and within similar proximity to various public transport routes. The courtyard entrance to the building has level access from the public pavement, with the first floor events space served by a lift. Middlesex House does not have onsite parking and we recommend exploring London Borough of Camden's Parking Map to find further information regarding specific accessibility requirements. There is very limited street parking around Middlesex House. There are three disabled parking spaces on adjacent Tottenham Street and one disabled parking space on Cleveland Street; a very short distance from the venue; however we do not own these spaces so cannot guarantee space. Alternatively there is a drop-off point immediately outside the entrance. We appreciate the diverse nature of those attending Sessions and therefore will provide appropriate light refreshments. Attendees are encouraged to reach out in advance with specific accessibility requirements.
