In line with the LFA2025 theme, Voices, Dulwich Picture Gallery invite families to collaborate in fun, family friendly participatory creative art and play sessions with an aim of amplifying and capturing diverse perspectives and experimenting with fresh ideas for transforming local spaces.
LFA and Dulwich Picture Gallery were thrilled to recently announce the winning design for the ‘Reimagining Play’ competition: A Gift of Flowers, created by McCloy + Muchemwa in collaboration with HoLD Collective and Cake Industries. This vibrant, playful installation reimagines Jan van Huysum’s masterpiece Vase with Flowers into a striking, interactive sculpture that will transform the Gallery’s historic grounds.
The session will encourage sensory engagement, transforming the Gallery’s gardens into an inclusive environment for visitors of all ages these workshops will aim to capture feedback and ideas of how to best explore the sculpture in its developmental stages. Come along!
