Architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris led the masterplan and design of Blossom Yard and Studios, Nicholls & Clarke, and Loom Court, in collaboration with Stanton Williams, Morris+Company, and DSDHA, who designed Elder Yard and Studios, 15 Norton Folgate, and 16 Blossom Street respectively, and with East, who led the public realm strategy.
Rather than applying a blanket strategy across the site, the masterplan employed a building-by-building approach. Responding to the variegated character of Norton Folgate, the architecture practices were brought together to diversify the architectural approach and style to the design of the buildings. Existing structures have been restored, refurbished, extended, and remodelled, alongside sensitively designed new buildings.
