This event is for Everyone

Myths & Secrets of Marshgate is a site-specific participatory project that collects the hidden narratives of Marshgate through the voices of its community. Whether you are a regular visitor, an occasional passerby, or someone who knows the building only from a distance, this project invites you to reinterpret its presence through your own lens.

As part of the London Festival of Architecture, this workshop event will showcase the project’s evolving body of research, including participant-submitted videos and the documented methodologies used to explore the building’s meaning and significance.

Through a series of simple, task-based prompts, you will have the opportunity to engage with the site, reflecting on the mythologies and secrets it holds for you. Your contributions will become part of a growing archive, shaping a collective understanding of Marshgate as both a physical space and a site of lived stories.
