JCDecaux, the largest Out-of-Home advertising company in the world, invite you to step behind the doors of their white-towered building, an iconic feature of the Golden Mile that has welcomed generations of people into London. The afternoon will begin by a talk from historian James Marshall, author of The Great West Road: A Centenary History, sharing a local perspective on the history of the area. A tour of JCDecaux’s Grade II listed building will follow, showcasing its beautiful Art Deco architecture. The afternoon will wrap up with a tour of JCDecaux’s exhibition space, showcasing their portfolio of street furniture designed in collaboration with world-renowned architects including Lord Norman Foster and Philip Cox.
