Join SAVE and former TfL Head of Design and Heritage, Mike Ashworth, for a special tour of the Jubilee Line Extension - an architectural landmark that transformed London’s underground spaces. Hailed as ‘the biggest architectural sensation of their kind since the Moscow Underground’ when it opened in 1999, the extension was led by Roland Paoletti and features designs by Hopkins Architects, Will Alsop, and Foster + Partners.

More than engineering feats, these stations reflect distinct approaches to design, function, and urban experience. As cities evolve, so does the debate on what we protect and adapt. In 2017, SAVE successfully campaigned to prevent major demolition at Southwark Station, underscoring the balance between progress and heritage.

Part of LFA 2025 Voices, this tour explores how architecture is valued and reimagined for future generations - examining the past, present, and future of these celebrated stations.

Please note, there are very limited spaces available and a valid travel card or topped up Oyster is required for the day covering Zones 2-3.
