This event is for Built environment professionals This event is for College and university students

Do you think architecture is only about designing beautiful spaces?
Have you experienced any challenges finding a job or a work placement?
Did you know you could leverage your skills into other industries?

Join the session organised by PAM, to discover more about the diverse range of professional pathways in the design industry!

As a group of young architects, we aim to host an engaging group discussion to introduce the audience to the diverse paths within the architectural profession. Each of us has followed a unique journey, exploring various specialisms, from design to sustainability and innovative technology. Through this session, we will share insights about our experiences, discuss the challenges and opportunities in these paths, and answer questions to inspire architecture graduates and young professionals considering different directions in their careers.

This panel discussion will explore career routes and roles within the built environment sector, across and beyond traditional architectural practice. The panel discussion will be followed by informal networking.

The panel:
- Alfred Millan (AtkinsRéalis Embodied Carbon Lead, Building Design in UK and Ireland)
- Renata Dickson-Nwosu, Asif Khan (Registered Architect and Project Manager)
- Wilfred Achille (Architect, Interior Designer and Design Consultant and Founder of founder of Studio RDN-X)
- Katie Fisher (Founding member of the Professional Architect Mentors and Founder of CARD)
Chair: Nikolina Georgieva (Architect and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Awareness Lead, Eric Parry Architects)

The event is for students, graduates and early-career professionals in the built environment.
