Drawing Voices brings together installation, drawing, and performance. The work explores the sound of drawing, the physicality of the mark-making process, and collectivity and synchronicity of bodies in action as they lock into rhythms and patterns through intuition and improvisation.
This performance will involve two to four performers working on a shared drawing surface for around 30 minutes. Then a number of audience members will be invited to join the drawing, one at the time, thus making drawing a shared activity that unites the performers and audience in an immersive experience.
This event is for everyone interested in drawing, mark-making, architectural drawing, movement, dance, abstract music, and immersive and durational installation and performance artwork.
