Designing in Dialogue is a sound installation responding to the London Festival of Architecture 2025 theme, Voices. It captures real conversations from design studios, digitally reimagining the exchanges of teaching, debate, and advocacy within architectural and design education.

Visitors will step into an immersive sonic experience, where the layered voices of students and educators bring the design studio to life. Discussions, critiques, and moments of creative discovery unfold, highlighting the collaborative and dynamic nature of learning.

By weaving together a tapestry of voices, Designing in Dialogue explores the power of conversation in shaping design thinking. This installation invites audiences to reflect on the role of dialogue- both listening and speaking- as a fundamental part of architectural, design education and practice.
