Both a celebration and a call to action, Design and Disability showcases the radical contributions of Disabled, Deaf, and neurodivergent people and communities to design history and contemporary culture, from the 1940s to now. Please join Sam Brown (V&A Design Studio) Natalie Kane (exhibition curator) and The DisOrdinary Architecture Project (Exhibition Accessibility Consultants) for an inclusive tour of the exhibition.
The tour is open to all and would be of specific interest to anyone working in the cultural sector who wish to understand new strategies and thinking of removing the barriers to access to exhibition spaces. We will focus on a highlighting a series of integrated design and curatorial access elements across the exhibition with an informal discussion between the team and a chance for Q&A.
