The Great West Road was opened in 1925. This free audio-visual exhibition has a particuar emphasis upon "The Golden Mile". The exhibition will include images and audio-visual displays about the area's history and will be open on 31st May and 1st June 2025. The exhibition will be of interest to all residents and visitors, including those with an interest in local and architectural history.

Local historian, James Marshall, the author of The History of the Great West Road, will be on hand to provide information and to sell copies of his book.
