Did you know that 1 in 4 people globally still don’t have access to clean water?
Blue Pulse is our response—a human-scaled water tower that filters rainwater, designed not just to function, but to speak.
At ENVY STUDIOS, we believe design is more than aesthetics. It’s a voice for our cities, a way to express urgent environmental needs and inspire tangible change. Blue Pulse gives water a voice. It gives nature a voice. And it gives you a voice—by showing how design can solve everyday urban challenges, like pollution and water waste.
Not only was this design made for our city, but it was made by the city! We gave members of the public a voice by letting them guide the design process from start to finish; letting them drive the aim, materiality, scale and even aesthetic of our design.
Giving the public a voice is essential to reshaping our cities.
This installation also features a dog-friendly drinking station—because we believe cities should serve every voice, even our four-legged friends.
Through our platform, we document every part of our process—from the first sketch to final installation—using social media as a tool to amplify new voices in architecture and sustainability. Let’s listen to what the future is trying to tell us.
