WilkinsonEyre is curating an architectural treasure hunt, uncovering hidden features deep inside Battersea Power Station. Inside the newly restored building, architectural Easter eggs hint at historic untold design stories and voices, showcasing rich heritage features preserved through architectural interventions. Those who take part in this bespoke experience will uncover the building’s most intriguing, often overlooked details while being rewarded with fascinating stories of its history and individuals’ work spanning a century.
Available to take part over the course of the festival, clues will be available online for the public to discover and follow, revealing original features hidden in plain sight within the Power Station’s public spaces. Participants who successfully find the treasure spots will submit selfies with their findings, and the first 20 to complete the hunt will win a prize, with an additional prize for the best photo of the month. Participants have a chance at winning bespoke architectural tokens and a complimentary trip in Lift 109.
