The aim of the project is to explore the ways architecture affects people's mood, and how it can be a prompt for the '5 Ways to Wellbeing' - accompanied by a Mindfulness Walk to the Arts Depot from our nearby offices.
The event will start with a presentation on the ways that our built environment can affect our mood, from the colours and textures used through to the way we may include planting. The content will also consider how interacting with architecture can help us to explore the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’ – by observing, connecting, learning, getting physical and giving.
The event will then move on to a mindfulness walk in the nearby streets, to experience a sense of wellbeing by inviting participants to pay attention to the architecture along the way. The event will then finish with a focussed conversation back at the Mind premises, accompanied by light refreshments.
