The walk is inspired by the London Festival of Architecture with the theme of Voices.

I have lived in Mill Hill for more than 50 years and witnessed changes.

I will share changes that I have seen in attitudes, landscape and culture such as:
- A shift from racism to multicultural diversity side by side in the same street
- The iconic green roofed Medical Research Centre used in a Batman film
- Dollis Infants and Primary Schools merging.
- Copthall Swimming pool /Stadium being developed into Leisure Centre and home of Saracen’s Rugby club
- The Inglish Barracks giving way to MillBrook
- Angel pond at the End of Milespit Hill with the old high road and Angel Cottages from the 1600’s

The project takes place on Sunday 8th June, starting and ending at Mill Hill East Church.

It will include a stop at a local cafe for refreshments.
