Art Park is a new creative hub in Harrow Town Centre, transforming 900sqm of repurposed car park space into a vibrant destination for culture, collaboration, and community.
Designed by award-winning architects Jan Kattein and operated by meanwhile experts, Meanwhile Space on behalf of London Borough of Harrow, the project features creative studios, workspaces, public art showcases, growing areas, and a landmark leisure unit. Funded through the Future High Street Fund, Art Park is a key part of Harrow’s £7 million town-centre regeneration, shaped by local input to foster new opportunities for businesses, artists, and residents. Through ongoing partnerships and community engagement, it will establish itself as a creative and social catalyst for Harrow’s future.
As a meanwhile project, Art Park is a place for experimentation, collaboration, and amplifying diverse voices of Harrow’s community. Over its five-year term, the site will evolve through the testing of ideas, fostering creative expression, and encouraging dialogue from all town centre users. We aim to launch the space as a hub of curiosity, where people can explore, create, and shape the town centre together.
Launching Summer 2025, Art Park is delighted to be hosting a range of events, including tours, exhibitions, installations, and workshops, culminating in a public launch to celebrate the site opening in the coming months. The LFA is an opportunity to open the doors for the first time – to explore, create, and offer a sneak peek of what’s to come.
